Infectious Disease and Internal Medical Specialist Joins AMH Staff
February 3, 2009 – Dr. Nanette S. Sable, who is board certified in both internal medicine and infectious diseases, has joined the Hospitalist group at Auburn Memorial Hospital (AMH). She will be providing service to hospitalized patients as well as providing consultation services in infectious diseases to the Auburn community. Dr. Sable graduated from the University of Michigan and received her M.D. degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City. This was followed by a residency in internal medicine at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, and a fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, New York.
Dr. Sable has served on the staffs of St. Joseph’s and Crouse Hospitals in Syracuse. She currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Upstate Medical University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America and the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America. Dr. Sable has lectured at various meetings and conferences throughout the United States, and has been the author of a variety of medical publications.
