Sara Zafar, MD
Dr. Sara Zafar, MD is a board certified family physician in Auburn, New York. She is currently licensed to practice medicine in New York, Minnesota, and Illinois. She is affiliated with Auburn Community Hospital.
Sultan Ripon, MD
Dr. Sultan Ripon comes to the Auburn Primary Care Practice and Auburn Community Hospital from American University of Antigua, College of Medicine. Dr. Ripon completed his Medical Residency training at New York Medical College Family Medicine Residency at Hoboken University Medical Center, Hoboken, New Jersey.
The New York Medical College Family Residency at Hoboken University Medical Center is designed to provide residents with a comprehensive background in the broad aspects of family practice. This includes a strong ambulatory care focus with a team-based approach including exposure to inpatient, pediatric and geriatric care.
Parth Patel, DO
Dr. Patel is a board-eligible Internal Medicine physician who has recently joined the practice in September 2021. He was born & raised in a suburb of Detroit and received his medical education & training in rural Appalachia in East Tennessee & Kentucky. He has a passion for geriatrics and care for elderly with a focus on educating patients on their various medical conditions. He enjoys the outdoors in addition to travelling and exploring world cuisines.
Lyndsay Christensen, MD
Dr. Lyndsay Christensen is a family medicine practitioner. She was a resident in Family Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, NY, and board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Christensen received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2020 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with the highest distinction from Indiana University School of Science.
During her time at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Dr. Christensen has undergone extensive inpatient training, managed her own continuity clinic, and gained experience in prenatal care. She also excels in pediatric care, both in inpatient settings and in teaching medical students. Her earlier leadership role as Chief Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica in Kokomo, IN, equipped her with proficiency in electronic medical records, a sound understanding of billing and coding concepts, and valuable management experience.
Dr. Christensen is an active member of esteemed medical organizations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the New York State Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association. She demonstrated her dedication to the field by attending the Family Medicine Education Consortium’s annual meeting and actively contributing to recruiting and advising medical students.
In addition to her comprehensive medical training, Dr. Christensen is highly skilled in various electronic medical record systems, including Epic EMR, Cerner, and Allscripts. Her medical interests include women’s health, with proficiency in performing procedures such as pap smears, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, Bartholin’s cyst drainage, and IUD insertions.

Linda Lupo, RN, MS, FNP
Linda has worked as a Nurse Practitioner with Auburn Primary Care for almost 25 years. Prior to that, she worked as a nurse in Critical Care. She has been a nurse since 1982 and has had various experiences in Surgery and Critical Care. Linda enjoys spending time with her kids/family, exercising and gardening.
