Biography
Dr. Christopher Wang is an Orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in sports medicine. He trained in Fort Lauderdale, FL for residency and did his fellowship for sports medicine in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Wang grew up in San Diego, California and received his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Irvine. Along with his experience in general orthopedic care, he has a special interest in sports-related injuries and treatment. He has experience covering the Pittsburgh Pirates, USA Rugby, USL Soccer, and high school football during his fellowship year. Dr. Wang has as focus on shoulder, hip, and knee injuries and is trained in a variety of arthroscopic and open procedures for these areas. He also has training in shoulder replacement surgeries for trauma or arthritis.
