Biography
Dr. Robert Singletary, Medical Director of Urgent Care Clinics, grew up in Washington, DC, and has pursued a distinguished career in emergency medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, graduating in 2001. During medical school, Dr. Singletary completed a Master of Public Health in Public Health Leadership at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating in 2004. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, NC, in 2005.
Dr. Singletary completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He joined Auburn Community Hospital in October 2017 as a physician in the Emergency Department. Recognized for his dedication to education, Dr. Singletary was honored as Preceptor of the Year by MCPHS University School of Physician Assistant Studies on December 20, 2022.
In November 2024, he assumed the role of Medical Director for Auburn Community Hospital’s Urgent Care Clinics, where he oversees clinical operations and ensures high-quality patient care.
