Biography

William J. Childres, MD joined Internal Medicine Associates of Auburn in September 2013. He received the Harry A. Feldman Preventive Medicine Award in 2002 at SUNY Upstate Medical University in recognition of excellence and interest in preventive medicine. He also received the Resident Teacher Award and Outstanding Primary Care Clinic Resident award in recognition by students of the internal medicine clerkship and in recognition of excellent care provided at the primary care clinics, both through SUNY Upstate Medical University 2004 - 2005. Dr. Childres is certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society for Hospital Medicine. He has served as a Hospitalist at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse and Auburn Community Hospital in Auburn, NY.
