Responsible for receiving and recording / posting cash and check payments to the appropriate patient account, cycle, and insurance company plan / code. Interacts daily with patients and the public at the cashier’s window, answering questions, accepting payments, and providing change. Refers patients to the appropriate billing clerk when a more detailed question or accounting is requested
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Banking or cashiering experience in an office setting, preferably in a health care institution preferred.
Salary – $16.00 – $18.60 D.O.E.
