Job duties: Performs CT scan studies, obtains patient history, explains procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Performs venipuncture for IV and contrast administration, using aseptic technique. Rotation in Xray as well.
Performs routine CT computer functions such as archiving, copying, imaging and manipulation of image data. Practices radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills and knowledge of applicable exposure factors, minimizes radiation to patient and staff. Adheres to ACH organizational and department-specific safety, confidentiality, values, policies and standards.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Experience/Training needed (be specific): Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Must be experienced in Computed Tomography and Xray. CT certification required within one year of hire date. NY State Licensed Radiologic Technologist ARRT -willing to work flexible hours in a rural hospital
Salary: $32.79 – $47.90/hour
2 shifts available: Fri-Sun 7p-7:30a & Sat-Mon 7a-7:30p + shift differential
Job Types: Full-time, Per diem
Pay: $29.79 – $44.90 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
