Located in the heart of the Fingerlakes Region, Auburn Community Hospital is a rural 99-bed hospital serving a population of 80,000.
The Director of Quality Management will be responsible for coordinating, planning, directing and managing the Quality Management Department, Risk Management, Infection Prevention and hospital-wide Quality Management programs. This person will establish goals and objectives for these programs to ensure the highest levels of quality. They will coordinate aspects of risk management related to quality-of-care issues including identification, evaluation and prevention of incients within the hospital.
Qualifications:
5-7 years clinical experience required
3 years experience in an acute setting preferred
3 years demonstrated leadership in an acute care setting in Quality Improvement preferred
Current NYS RN license required
Bachelors Degree required
Physical Requirements:
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time, occasional lifting, carrying and pushing items weighing 50+ lbs. Requires full range of motion for handling and lifting to include manual and finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids on a regular basis. Workload can include stressful situations and irregular workhours.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
