The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource and employee health departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for onboarding new hires.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource and employee health files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of personnel files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR and employee health departments.
- Maintain various excel spreadsheets.
- Acts as a support between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
- Ability to work in fast paced settings.
- Ability to multi-task.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree in related field preferred.
- Prior related office experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to bend and retrieve files and file documents.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to walk long distances
Salary: $22-24/hour based on experience
Monday – Friday 8am-4pm
