MRI Technologist – Up to $25,000 Sign-On Bonus

Reports To: Director of Radiology

Department: Radiology – 7045

Shift(s):

• Days / 3 x 12-hour Weekdays 7a-730p, + 1 alternate day during the week
• Evenings / Mon-Fri 3p-11p
• Per Diem

Sign-On Bonus:

• Full Time and Part Time (prorated) Employment
• Less than 1 years’ experience = $15,000
• More than 1 years’ experience = $25,000

Broad Function:

• Responsible for specialized and routine radiographic and MRI procedures as prescribed by physicians.

Major Responsibilities:

• Perform specialized procedures examinations.
• Maintain adequate level of supplies for procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of all special procedures and MRI and train Radiologic Technologists in specialized procedures and MRI.
• Cover emergency call as necessary.
• Perform the duties of Radiologic Technologist as necessary.
• Maintain awareness of and comply with hospital and regulatory agencies standards, rules, regulations and codes applicable to radiologic services.
• Maintain competency in caring for patients of all age groups and developmental stages, and maintain competency as specifically indicated by orientation guidelines for a particular unit.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma plus 2 years Radiologic Technology or a Associate’s Degree in RT plus NYS License and at least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist plus MRI experience and MRI certification preferred.
• ARRT registered.
• CPR certification required.
