Job Title: Patient Care Assistant (pca) – Behavioral Health

Job Description:

The Patient Care Assistant will be responsible for regularly scheduled duties in the care and treatment of patients following established procedures. PCA’s will tend or assistant patient with personal hygiene functions and activities of daily living, take, record and report vital signs including intake and output, blood pressure, height & weight, collect urine and stool specimens. PCA’s will provide physical support in assisting patient in and out of bed as needed and will transport patients to and from assigned areas/units within hospital. PCA’s will assists nurses in current care plans.

Professional orientation and on the job training provided. Previous experience preferred but not required.

We offer higher rates of pay to candidates who have current/previous experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant.

Full Time overnight shift and part-time day shift available.

Shifts are 7a-7:30p; 7p-7a

$1.80 – 3-11pm differential, $1.90 – 11p-7a differential, .75 weekend differential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.26 – $21.68 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
