Requirement: Contract with Auburn Memorial Medical Services
Education:
- Degree in Medicine
- Board Eligible or Certified*
*American Board of Emergency Medicine, American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Boards with Emergency Medicine experience is also acceptable.
Licenses:
- State of New York – Practice of Medicine
Certifications:
- ATLS
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
Responsibilities – General
- Fulfills the requirements of the employment contract in force with Auburn Memorial Medical Services.
- Provides care giving at the highest ethical level at all times.
- Maintains the physician-patient relationship as the central focus of all ethical concerns.
- Maintains a reputation for truth and honesty with all contacts.
- Contributes to the continuous development of a quality Auburn Memorial Medical Services practice.
- Actively and continuously strives to maintain and improve medical knowledge and skills.
- Devotes full time to the practice of medical specialty for Auburn Memorial Medical Services.
Responsibilities – Clinical
- Provides health care services in specialty area.
- Ensures the quality of the services provided through the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Auburn Memorial Medical Services quality system.
- Complies with the applicable federal, state and Joint Commission on the
- Accreditation of Health Care Organizations statutes & standards.
- Uses currently accepted and approved methods and practices of the specialty.
- Participates in the on-call schedules with other members of the practice at all locations for which the practice provides coverage for routine, urgent, and emergency care.
- In those instances where the Physician Employee is board eligible, the Physician Employee uses best efforts to become and to remain board certified.
- Accepts additional responsibilities by agreement with the Medical Director.
Responsibilities – Primary Company
- Reads, understands, and abides by the practice policies and procedures, as outlined in the Employee Manual and the Quality Systems Manual.
- Promotes the quality policy statement of the practice.
- Attends mandatory staff meetings, training sessions, and conferences.
- Works towards and promotes maximum efficiency in the uses of the practice’s people, equipment and other assets.
- Promotes and protects the patient’s right to privacy and confidentiality.
- Promotes and protects Auburn Memorial Medical Services employee, administrative, and practice confidentiality.

Pay: $250,000.00 – $300,000.00 per year
