Radiologic Technologist Specialist – $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus (Full Time and Part Time Employment)

Broad Function:

Responsible for specialized and routine radiographic and CT procedures as prescribed by physicians.

Major Responsibilities:

• Perform specialized procedures examinations.
• Maintain adequate level of supplies for special procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of all special procedures and CT and train Radiologic Technologists in specialized procedures and CT.
• Cover emergency call for CT and Nuclear Medicine as necessary.
• Perform the duties of Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist, Mammography and Nuclear Medicine Technologist and/or one (1) of the above modalities.
• Maintain awareness of and comply with hospital and regulatory agencies standards, rules, regulations and codes applicable to radiologic services.
• Maintain competency in caring for patients of all age groups and developmental stages, and maintain competency as specifically indicated by orientation guidelines for a particular unit.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma plus 2 years Radiologic Technology or a Associate’s Degree in RT plus NYS License and at least 1 year as a Radiologic Technologist plus CT and Ultrasound experience required.
• ARRT registered.
• CPR certification required.
