Auburn Community Hospital (ACH) is privileged to participate in the American Heart Association’s Little Hats, Big Hearts initiative. ACH is so grateful for the generosity of our community, as local knitters and crocheters donated more than 200 little red hats this year!
Little Hats, Big Hearts helps spread awareness about congenital heart defects – which affect about 40,000 babies born in the U.S. each year. Nationally, volunteers with big hearts responded in record numbers, producing more than 213,000 little red hats for 880 hospitals, which is more than twice as many hats are were collected last year!
